It’s been an exciting month in the real estate world for the Onni Group! From finally unveiling an exciting public art piece, to prospective projects in the works, here’s a quick summary of what we’ve been up to these past few weeks…

Introducing “The Lady” to Central Lonsdale

1

After months of planning, we were thrilled to introduce “The Lady” in early October. A public art piece designed specially for CentreView, the camel statue was modeled after the last known surviving Cariboo camel in BC. The unveiling had an amazing public turnout, where both Myfanwy MacLeod, the artist, and Mayor Mussatto spoke. Next time you’re in the neighbourhood, stop by Lonsdale and 13th to see the life-size figure!

The Grande Opening

3

In case you missed it, The Grande’s Presentation Centre officially opened its doors in Port Moody at the end of September. We had a great time celebrating, snacking on Rocky Point Ice Cream, and welcoming everyone who came to view floorplans and interiors. To see for yourself, visit the Presentation Centre located at Suter Brook Village!

Onni Named Top Three Finalist For Angel’s Landing Proposal in DTLA

4

We’re thrilled to have been named one of the top three finalists, in partnership with Natoma Architects, for a proposal at Angel’s Landing in downtown Los Angeles. The two buildings Onni has proposed would resemble stacked cubes, inspired by the grid system used in cities.

5

The theme of the proposal is connectivity, with a staircase running between the buildings, two acres of public open space, and 600 parking stalls. The buildings would be connected by a series of plazas and paseos, with one part dedicated to residential, and the other to a hotel and condominiums. Additionally, 10% would be set aside for workforce and affordable housing. The winner will be selected in November, so stay tuned!

Heading into November, we have a lot more exciting news we can’t wait to share, so be sure to tune into our Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter to stay up to date!
